Nice house / Pfarrhaus
This nice house was hiding somewhere beside the main shopping street in Hilden. No reason for hiding! I think it’s very nice. Nicer than in my sketch;-) Das Pfarrhaus von St. Jacobus in Hilden hat sich ein wenig abseits der Haupteinkaufsstraße versteckt. Dabei besteht kein Grund zur Schüchternheit, ich fand es ziemlich hübsch!
Colorful / Farbenfroh
It always makes me smile when I drive past this colorful houses. The rest of the streets looks very pale compared to them. Für diese bunten Häuser in Holthausen möchte ich den Malermeister und auch den Auftraggeber jedes Mal küssen, wenn ich vorbeifahre. Die übrigen Häuser in der Nähe wirken dagegen trist und farblos🙂
Swinging houses / Tanzende Häuser
Of course they didn’t really swing but somehow in my sketch they do. . Ein paar vergnügte Häuser als Ergebnis eines vergnüglichen Mittags in Hilden. Mittlerweile stehen sie wieder gerade, ich hatte beim skizzieren genau den richtigen Moment erwischt, als sie noch eine bequeme Haltung suchten!
still hot / immer noch heiß
Another sketch from that crazy hot week we had. Sitting on a bench in the shade didn’t help much but it speeded up my sketching a lot. . Noch eine Skizze von der verrückten heißen Woche. Last week it was very hot over here. Too hot to sketch. The paint was dry before the brush touched the paper.
