Again my lunch had to wait because I wanted to sketch it first. I’m starting to like the direct approach with watercolor. Even with a simple subject like some slices of apple I would sketch in pencil first if it was not for this challenge. I think I’m going to change that in future.

Und wieder mal musste mein Essen aufs Gegessenwerden warten, die Skizze kam zuerst. Selbst bei einem einfachen Motiv wie ein paar Apfelspalten würde ich normalerweise zuerst vorzeichnen. Aber mir gefällt diese direkte Herangehensweise langsam richtig gut, ich werde wohl auch in Zukunft die ein oder andere Skizze ohne Vorzeichnung versuchen.
